So, we laid a patio....

So, we're putting a cabin at the top of the garden and we need to set a foundation. Sounded easy, we were wrong!



Excavating the foundation

The stuff got delivered to the front...

Then we wheelbarrowed 2 tonnes of aggregate through the house...


Laying the foundation...

then it had to be stamped down.

Then we wheel barrowed 1 tonne of sharp sand...

Then we started on the 40 slabs....

2 weekends later and we laid the last slab!!

Now we're just waiting on the cabin arriving so we can start building it!
