Construction site...

The cabin was delivered on Wednesday. Dad has been staying at ours these past few days as he was away fishing on Friday with our neighbour. He kindly stuck around for the weekend and helped us with the building. We're really pleased with it so far - the logs are 45mm thick and we bought proper house quality shingles for the roof. The windows are double glazed too. We still have to lay the floor, so we're not finished yet, but it's almost done. Dave wants to insulate the space under the floor boards and he's talking of insulating the ceiling too and putting in a false ceiling to hide the fibreglass. Our neighbour is going o help us put in an armoured cable so we will have electricity too!!
